Community Assistance Director
County of Jefferson

The County of Jefferson, CO is seeking a Community Assistance Director, this position reports to the Executive Director for Human Services and serves as an engaged member of the executive team to advance and support their vision to provide excellent, individualized service throughout their communities with dignity and respect. The Community Assistance Director is responsible for overseeing the leadership, vision, and functioning of the Community Assistance Division in partnership with Human Services Department leadership and is responsible for strategic planning and ensuring all aspects of staff administration, fiscal management, and program delivery are done with excellence and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

With a leadership team of seven and an overall staff of 268, the Community Assistance Director strives to develop a culture of learning, development, responsibility, accountability, and achievement. The Director informs, consults, develops, and facilitates work with subordinate program managers, coordinators, supervisors, and staff through individual and group meetings regarding legislative and regulatory mandates, program planning and development, overall workload distribution, data analysis, personnel issues, staff development and fiscal management. The Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with all state and agency policies.

Location: Jefferson, Colorado
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
