The Santa Clara County Housing Authority is seeking a Deputy Executive Director! Under administrative direction, the Deputy Executive Director provides highly responsible and complex management support to the Executive Director and Board of Commissioners in coordinating and directing the Santa Clara County Housing Authority (Agency)-wide departmental activities and operations; assists the Executive Director in executing the long-term vision for the Agency under the direction of the Board of Commissioners and in collaboration with the Executive Management team; provides leadership to all Agency departments to enable department heads to effectively and efficiently maximize available resources; ensures quality services to stakeholders, and clients; coordinates assigned activities with government officials, outside agencies, and the public; fosters cooperative working relationships among Agency departments and with intergovernmental and regulatory agencies and various public and private groups; provides highly responsible and complex professional assistance to the Executive Director in areas of expertise; acts as Executive Director in his/her absence; and performs related work as required.
