Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Equal Opportunity (Vice Chancellor). Reporting to the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor will provide transformative and strategic leadership to the department of human resources and develop human resources plans and strategies in support of Foothill-De Anza’s ambitious aspirations. The Vice Chancellor oversees a consultative and strategic unit that includes employee and labor relations, performance management, compensation, training, retention, talent development, benefits, and strategic partnerships. The Vice Chancellor will promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. This position is responsible for policy development, contract negotiations, interpretation and application decisions; represents the District in grievances and arbitrations, responds to employee-related litigation, evaluates discrimination and sexual harassment complaints, and advises senior and executive administration and the Board on policy, legal requirements, and the impact of legislation, on employees, and develops and presents policies in response to legislation and District needs.

Salary: $184,768.40 – $259,990.50
