California High-Speed Rail Authority is seeking a Chief Operating Officer. The Chief Operating Officer will help oversee construction of the nation’s first high-speed rail project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Authority’s daily program delivery-related priorities and strategies, as well as leading the line operations by providing direction and leadership to the staff and contractors who are responsible for all operations. The Chief Operating Officer will focus on the construction and efficient delivery of the project in the Central Valley and formulates and implements statewide programs and policies in addition to coordinating and advising the Chief Executive Officer in the development of overall strategies for the successful and timely construction of the high-speed rail project.
