Health Effects Officer (Environmental Scientist)
South Coast Air Quality Management District

South Coast Air Quality Management District is seeking a Health Effects Officer. This management position will report to the Deputy Executive Officer of South Coast AQMD. Under general direction, this position serves as program director and develops and implements programs on the health effects of air pollution. As a technical specialist, this position conducts and supervises the most difficult and complex research and analysis of health-related air quality problems and formulates guidelines, rules, regulations, and policies pertaining to air quality management, and does other work as required. The most desirable candidates will present a highly competitive combination of related scientific and/or engineering education and training, along with directly related air quality experience.


Location: Diamond Bar, California
Salary: $129,834 – $171,195
