The City of Livingston is seeking a Public Services Director. Under the direction of the City Manager, the Public Service Director plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operations of the department, including the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of more than 39 miles of city streets; sidewalks, building, and water, sewer and wastewater systems and equipment; coordinates assigned activities with other City departments and outside agencies; provides expert assistance to the City Council, City Manager and others; and performs duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have significant experience and a proven track record in public works. Candidates who have experience in a jurisdiction of similar makeup and complexities will be favorably considered.
