The State Controller’s Office is hiring for their Chief, State Accounting and Reporting Division position.  The ideal candidate will have a post or bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting or related field and a valid/active Certified Public Accountancy License. With five years of experience overseeing government accounting services, the ideal candidate must be able to work effectively with others, demonstrate respect for stakeholders and exercise cooperation in all interactions through strong communication skills. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills and political acumen in a dynamic government operation. Keeping innovation in mind, the ideal candidate will also have the ability to bring new ideas and concepts to the team while staying abreast of new trends.
