The City of Bozeman is seeking a Community Development Director. The Community Development Director’s principal function is to provide leadership for the City’s Community Development Department, including directing, planning, and overseeing all activities and operations of the Department. The Director works under the administrative direction of the City Manager’s office. The Director will also work closely with the City Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission, other department heads, business and community groups, state and federal officials, the media, and the public. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in a planning/community development and have experience as a director or an assistant community development director in a high growth, fast-paced community.
