Metropolitan Transportation Commission is seeking an Associate General Counsel. The Associate General Counsel is a professional journey-level position well suited to those early in their careers who possess a strong commitment to public service. Under general direction, the AGC performs a broad variety of professional legal duties in support of the senior attorneys in the Office of the General Counsel including preparing and drafting correspondence, opinions, policies, briefs and pleadings; reviewing, and responding to claims and lawsuits; performing legal research; preparation and approval of contract specifications, construction contracts and conveyances; and, drafting and analyzing rules and regulations. Dedication to public service, a strong work ethic, solid analytical skills, flexibility, and judgment are essential.
