San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) is seeking a Regulatory Programs Director. The Regulatory Director oversees all aspects of BCDC’s 17-person Regulatory Program with an operating budget of approximately $3 million. The Regulatory Program includes two permitting teams, a dredging and sediment management team, and an engineering and design team. These four regulatory teams work on various projects around the San Francisco Bay, including habitat restoration and resource protection efforts, navigational dredging, transportation facilities, and more. The successful candidate will bring their strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting growth within the team. They will be an active collaborator within BCDC’s senior staff, actively continuing BCDC’s strong culture for environmental protection. The Regulator Director will also use their political acumen and communication skills to represent BCDC before a wide variety of public agencies and jurisdictions.
