Coconino County Public Works (CCPW) is recruiting for a Senior Survey Technician.  The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the principles, procedures, techniques, and equipment used for land surveying. They will be skilled in using survey equipment and have a desire to learn associated computer programs. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate tactfully and effectively with members of the public. 

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of increasingly responsible surveying or sub-professional engineering work; or, any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Must obtain Arizona Driver's license by date of hire and maintain it throughout employment.

Preferred qualifications: 
Experience operating survey grade GPS and robotic total station; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3d, Trimble Business Center, and ArcGIS; ability to read and interpret engineering plans, survey drawings, and legal descriptions.
