Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs is seeking a Manager II, Division Chief of Community Development. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and directing the implementation of countywide community planning/development and commercial revitalization, and enforcement of housing related laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader in a union environment. The candidate will have strong administrative skills in areas such as budget preparation, financial management, and human resources, along with experience in interpreting housing-related local, State, and Federal Laws and regulations and community planning and development. The next Manager II will utilize excellent communication skills to build rapport with community groups and residents and have a solid political acumen to handle complaints from the public and its executive leaders.
