Crescenta Valley Water District is seeking a Senior Engineer. The Senior Engineer oversees the Engineering Department by planning, managing, and coordinating staff and civil engineering work. This position carries a high level of responsibility and requires a person who can work independently. The Senior Engineer will understand and demonstrate management and leadership principles, including being deliberate about teamwork and professionalism, being flexible and a good listener, and being able to express ideas and exercise good judgement in analyzing situations and making decisions. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth working knowledge of the practices and principles of engineering with experience in project management, capital projects, repair and rehabilitation projects, and change management. In addition, the ideal candidate is one who can quickly acquire business acumen, successfully manage competing demands and priorities, empower and motivate diverse teams with varying skill sets, all while striving to deliver services in an innovative, efficient, and quality manner.
