California Privacy Protection Agency

California Privacy Protection Agency is seeking a Chief Information Officer. The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key member of the executive team and is responsible for providing vision and leadership to the Information Technology Division. The CIO administers CPPA’s IT strategic planning process and develops and implements IT policies to meet the needs of the Agency. Additionally, the CIO provides advice and guidance to the executive leadership and the Board on IT related matters and represents the Agency at statewide IT initiatives. CPPA is looking for a dynamic, seasoned leader with broad experience developing and providing effective IT services and solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience leading the development and management of IT strategy, project planning and service delivery, overseeing and managing enterprise architecture, vendor/contract management, and IT administration activities. As a new position for CPPA, the ideal candidate will have relevant experience that provides the knowledge and expertise to build and manage cutting edge IT environment with high security and confidentiality requirements from the ground up: startup to enterprise.


Location: Sacramento, California
Salary: $11,102.00 - $13,226.00 per month
