The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) is seeking a Deputy General Manager. The Deputy General Manager is a senior executive with direct management of the Engineering and Technical Services Department and general supervision of the Operations Department. This is a new position in Central San with significant authority to lead the direction of the organization through Engineering and Operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep wealth of experience in public utilities engineering and management. The Deputy General Manager will need extensive experience leading people, particularly in an operational capacity. This includes significant involvement and collaboration while working with labor unions or employee associations. Additionally, Central San is looking for someone skilled in managing contractors and consultants to deliver the District’s large capital improvement program.
