California’s Department of Justice is looking for a Division Chief, California Justice Services Division (CJIS)!  The incumbent provides direction and supervision to three-line Bureaus, three Information Technology (IT) Bureaus, and the CJIS Executive Office.
The CJIS Division Chief will:
  • Conduct policy development for the Department and Division; participates in policy guidance to CJIS programs and projects;
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the Division involving over 100 statewide programs and IT systems;
  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans; represents the Attorney General on executive boards and committees in-state and out-of-state;
  • Represent the Division before the Legislature, law enforcement, and interest groups;
  • Oversee IT strategic planning and initiatives for the Department;
  • Manage and implement technology to support the organization’s goals and mission
