Modesto City Schools is seeking a Chief Communications Officer. The Chief Communications Officer plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates Modesto City Schools’ annual communications plans to: support District initiatives with internal and external stakeholders; facilitate strong, trusting relationships with employees, families, and the community; and engage families and community members in our students’ education. This position focuses on and is responsible for optimizing communication to advance the District’s vision, mission and values, and building capacity within the District to create and maintain strong communication and serves as District spokesperson, media coordinator, and as a public relations advisor to the Superintendent and Executive Cabinet.
