The City of Oklahoma City, OK is looking for its next Recreation Manager with OKC Parks.  OKC Parks is moving into a new and exciting era for the Department. With a new executive team in place, a superb staff of professionals, a vast inventory of current recreation assets, a new multigenerational center, and over $215 million in capital improvements on the horizon, OKC Parks is poised to redefine its position within the community and the Parks and Recreation industry. The Department is a large, dynamic, and complex department is comprised of approximately 186 full-time employees, has an annual operating budget of $36 million, and provides the recreational needs of a culturally and socioeconomically diverse community spread over 620+ square miles.  OKC Parks is organized into five divisions: Administration; Grounds Management; Natural Resources; Public-Private Partnerships; and Recreation, Health, and Wellness.  The department manages and oversees over 170+ parks, 90 miles of multi-use trails, 11 recreation centers, 17 splash pads, 5 family aquatic centers, 5 golf courses, 4 skate parks, multiple athletic complexes, 3 event centers, a fish hatchery, 2 botanical gardens, and a nature park.
