is seeking an Executive Director. The Executive Director position is a highly complex role, requiring intellect, integrity, energy, dynamic leadership, strong communication and presentation skills, and commitment to the organization. The position is responsible for maintaining strong relationships between and among the various agencies, Boards, committees, and members. With health care services centralized and limited to several major providers, the Executive Director must be diligent and diplomatic in ensuring contract and service provisions that are favorable to MCSIG’s membership. The ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders, supporting and advising a large board. The Executive Director will possess strong institutional knowledge of employee benefits plan development and its administration within the public sector. The Executive Director will be an advocate for its members, working to uphold MCSIG’s mission and ensuring more freedom and better rates, superior coverage, and extensive member benefits. The successful candidate will also possess a combination of education and experience with a concentration in accounting, business, and/or public administration, equivalent to a college degree.
