Yuma County is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. The CFO is responsible for overseeing financial risk management, record-keeping, reporting, and fiscal performance. This role entails providing strategic leadership to department managers and staff, supporting financial matters for various Elected Offices, collaborating with the County Treasurer on cash flow projections, and assessing the financial impacts of long-range plans and regulatory actions. Additionally, the CFO coordinates external audits, advises county administration, assists in budget development, presents to the Board of Supervisors, recommends operational improvements, analyzes financial trends, evaluates departmental efficiency, establishes departmental goals and policies, and ensures compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
