The Town of Discovery Bay Community Services District is seeking an Assistant General Manager. This position is key to coordinating and overseeing activities across all departments, assisting the General Manager in implementing the District’s long-term goals in collaboration with the Board of Directors and department managers. The Assistant General Manager leads the effort to optimize resources and ensure high-quality services are delivered to the community. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking and dynamic leader with a collaborative management style who excels in strategic planning and communication. They bring experience in grant writing, human resources, and parks and recreation program management, along with the ability to handle complex projects and studies. Skilled in policy development, public communication, and community engagement, they will foster strong relationships with staff, board members, and the public while ensuring the District operates efficiently, effectively, and sustainably.


Location: Discovery Bay, California
Salary: $122,000 - $152,000
