Coalinga-Huron Library District is seeking a Library Director. The Library Director is a key leader responsible for setting the strategic direction and ensuring the efficient operation of the district’s library services. They draft policies for Board approval, oversee all human resources functions, manage library programs across various service areas, and maintain a diverse and relevant collection. The Director ensures facility upkeep, serves as Secretary to the Board of Trustees, and handles financial responsibilities such as budgeting and fund allocation. They foster community engagement, address public concerns, ensure legal compliance, direct staff training, and represent the district in regional and state forums. Additionally, the Director works to maintain a safe and welcoming library environment while performing various duties that enhance community services.

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
