The Director ensures facility upkeep, serves as Secretary to the Board of Trustees, and handles financial responsibilities such as budgeting and fund allocation. They foster community engagement, address public concerns, ensure legal compliance, direct staff training, and represent the district in regional and state forums. Additionally, the Director works to maintain a safe and welcoming library environment while performing various duties that enhance community services.
