California Construction Authority (CCA), is seeking an experienced Executive Officer who can lead with the organization and accomplish the Board’s vision and goals, foster strategic partnerships, increase funding opportunities, and ensure organizational sustainability. This is a chance to make a significant impact on public infrastructure and community resiliency across California.
This position reports directly to the Board of Directors. The Executive Officer serves as the chief executive of the organization, responsible for:
  • Leading all strategic business development, financial, and administrative functions.
  • Developing policies, programs, and budgets aligned with Board objectives.
  • Representing CCA with key stakeholders including California Department of Food & Agriculture, fairgrounds industry associations and regulatory bodies.
  • Driving legislative advocacy and securing new funding streams.
  • Developing a strong senior management team that effectively oversees staff, contractors, and consultants with a people-first approach.
  • Delivering transparent, ethical, and effective leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience: Leadership at an executive level in a related field
Other: ability and willingness to travel, flexible schedule, subject to background review
 

Location: Sacramento, California
Salary: $133,366 - $233,444
