As a visionary and strategic leader, the County Manager ensures efficient delivery of high-quality services, strong financial stewardship, and coordinated direction across twenty-four departments. This role is responsible for implementing the policies and directives of the board, engaging with community and business stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless operation of county government. The County Manager works to serve the best interests of all residents in alignment with the Washoe County Strategic Plan.
