Carmichael Recreation and Park District is seeking a District Administrator. Reporting to the 5-member Advisory Board of Directors and ultimately to the County Board of Supervisors, the District Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating all activities and functions of the District and carrying out Board policies. With a FY 2018 -19 total budget of $6.1 million, the District Administrator leads a talented and dedicated District work force of 20 full-time and approximately 60 part time staff. The ideal candidate is an experienced parks and recreation professional with strong interpersonal skills who is an excellent written and verbal communicator, instills customer service values in the organization, and fosters a system of accountability and teamwork.
