Alameda County General Services Agency, CA is seeking a Procurement Administrator. GSA is seeking a strong, dynamic, and engaging leader to develop and foster a teamwork environment. The ideal candidate will be an ethical and trustworthy change agent, with the ability to lead by example and set high standards for staff. A strong working knowledge of the California Public Contract Code, capital procurement, and community-based organizations are highly desirable. With the level of change expected in the division, the Procurement Administrator will have an opportunity to create procurement practices of the future for the County. Superb communication and relationship building skills are key in this role, as the successful candidate will be heavily involved in local business and stakeholder outreach, as well as special events and training. The incumbent must be comfortable working in a highly political environment and is expected to have strong political acumen and sensitivity.
