Citycounty Insurance Services (CIS) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. Under direction from the Executive Director, the CFO supervises Finance staff; oversees all financial aspects of our operations; manages the financial planning, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis functions of CIS; develops and implements short/ long-term financial strategies in support of CIS’ mission and goals, evaluates complex financing issues; proposes and implements financing alternatives based on CIS resources, priorities, and goals; provides CIS managers with policy guidance recommendations and support on key financial issues; oversees investment advisors, monitors investment portfolios for compliance and performance; builds and maintains strategic alliances with members, CIS staff, contract service providers and affiliated institutions and associations; and participates as a member of the Executive Team.
