The City of Nogales is seeking a City Manager. Under the overall direction of Mayor and City Council, the City Manager serves as the chief administrative and executive officer of the City, ensuring that City Council directives, goals and policies are implemented and executed by the organization. This position is responsible for planning, directing, managing, and reviewing all activities and operations of the city; coordinates programs, services, and activities among city departments and outside agencies; ensures the financial integrity of the municipal organization; represents the city’s interests; provides highly responsible and complex policy advice and administrative support to the Mayor and City Council.  The next City Manager will be an exceptional servant leader with a heart for the community of Nogales and the presence and ability to eloquently respond to the City’s challenges both strategically and tactically. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to transparency and the mission of public service. The new City Manager should have strong intuition as it relates to economic development and possess the ability to successfully address the unique challenges and opportunities that come with managing a border city. The new City Manager will exhibit the ability to inspire confidence and quickly establish mutual respect and trust with the Mayor and Council, staff, and the community.


Location: Nogales, Arizona
Salary: $130,000 to $150,000
