The Superior Court of California, County of Contra Costa is seeking Court Interpreters. The Court Interpreters Program strives to ensure access to the courts for persons with limited English proficiency or those who are deaf or hard of hearing by developing programs and practices that enhance the quality of interpretation and increase the availability of qualified interpreters in the courts. The ideal candidate will be able to facilitate communication flow between the court and court customers. The Court Interpreter must conduct their role with high accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. The Court Interpreter must be able to perform this role without bias or reaction to what is said while maintaining communication between all parties.
