is seeking a Director of Information Technology. The Director of Informational Technology is a critical department head position that is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the Information Technology Department. The Director is responsible for the administration of information systems for the City and coordinating information technology projects and initiatives with other divisions, departments and outside agencies. Some of the key functions of the position include developing, maintaining and implementing departmental goals; establishing and maintaining City telecommunications and radio infrastructure, including space management on city-owned towers; overseeing the department work plan; identifying opportunities for improvement to standard operating procedures to enhance services; overseeing and managing department personnel and the budget; and developing training to support computer and telecommunications systems by end users. The Director will be expected to work in the office though there may be opportunities to work remotely from time to
time.
