The
Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District
is seeking a collaborative, service-orientated professional to serve as its next Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will oversee the District’s accounting, finance, payroll, and expenditure control functions. In addition, they will also prepare the budget and along with five-year revenue and expenditure projections for the District, and coordinate and supervise the annual audit. The Finance Manager will also attend Board meetings and address financial questions posed by the Board of Trustees, the general public, and/or District staff. The ideal candidate excels in collaborating and working in a team orientated environment; has excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; will treat everyone equally and fairly; will be approachable and have an open-door policy; and is comfortable speaking and making presentations to public bodies.
