is seeking a General Manager of Commuter Rail. The General Manager of Commuter Rail (G
M) will possess a deep knowledge of transit operations, preferably within the rail industry, lead a complex and diverse workforce, while ensuring safety and regulatory requirements are met. The GM will be a skilled leader with the proven ability to influence, set direction, and inspire commitment to deliver results, in a unionized environment, working collaboratively with cross functional leaders to accomplish organizational objectives and goals. The ideal candidate will build strong internal partnerships and lead strategic relationships with local business and community leaders, to create an environment that encourages community goodwill, increases transit ridership, and ensures compliance with community goals. The GM will establish and lead cultural work in support of the UTA Way; mission, vision, focus of our people, service and stewardship, and guiding principles.
