The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is seeking a Vice President of Human Capital.  Known as the "trusted guide" to operate a safe, efficient and effective transportation to over 13 cities in the Dallas, Texas area, DART's 3,500+ employees are respected for their unique perspectives, recognized for high performance, trained to do their jobs well, and empowered to achieve excellence. The DART team strives every day to create 5 Star Service by providing extraordinary customer experience when interacting with colleagues, riders, partners and the community.  To continue striving to make DART an employer of choice, the Vice President of Human Capital shall be a seasoned, experienced and transformative leader focused on strategic human capital leadership, attracting and retaining the best people talent available, employee development, cultivating diversity and inclusion, fostering extraordinary customer service among employees, and developing outreach programs that illustrate the agency's commitment to the communities DART serves. The salary range is commensurate with the market and based on education and experience. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.  Master’s degree preferred.  Candidates shall have 14 years of progressively responsible experience in human capital management, development of strategic initiatives, employee benefits, labor unions, talent management and recruitment, including 7 years managing a professional staff.  Senior HR certification (SHRM-SCP) is a must!  Experience working in the public sector is imperative.
