Prince William County, VA is seeking a Human Resources Director. Under broad direction of the Deputy County Executive of General Government, the Human Resources Director leads the Human Resources Department and is an integral part of the Executive Leadership team. The successful incumbent will initiate human resource practices, procedures and objectives to provide an employee oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce while assuring quality customer service to Human Resources partners and County constituents. By developing collaborative partnerships with the County Executive, Board of County Supervisors, and Agency Directors, the HR Director will be positioned to provide expertise and analysis in the management of operations, service delivery, and program development and implementation. As a transformational leader, the incumbent will continually promote the development, integration and implementation of the department’s mission, vision, policies, long term strategic goals and objectives and ensure that they support the County’s mission, vision, values and priorities.
